Shehnaz Alidina, Sc.D., M.P.H., M.H.A., is the associate director of Safe Surgery 2020 at Harvard Medical School. Previously, she was a global health systems researcher in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine. Her research focuses on the health delivery system innovations and their implementation to improve quality, integrate care, and improve the performance of health systems. Specific areas of investigation include: surgical quality, primary care, and integrated health delivery systems. Alidina holds an Sc.D. and M.P.H. in health policy and management from Harvard University and an M.H.A. from the University of Ottawa.
