Sarah Meier, Ph.D., is a research health economist at RTI International. She was previously a manager at Manatt Health and a research associate at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Meier specializes in research and policy issues in the areas of health care coverage and access and delivery system and payment model reform. Her background includes experience implementing select Medicaid provisions of the Affordable Care Act while interning in the Office of Health Policy at the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation of the Department of Health and Human Services, as well as evaluation of Wisconsin’s BadgerCare Plus and Core expansions. Dr. Meier holds a Ph.D. in population health from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an M.Sc. in health economics, policy, and law from Erasmus University in the Netherlands.
