Sabrina Poon, M.D., M.P.H., is an assistant professor of Emergency Medicine and medical director of the Office of Episodes of Care in the Office of Population Health at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Poon was previously a Vanderbilt Emergency Care Research Training NHLBI K12 Scholar. Her academic interests include improving quality and value in health care. She earned her M.D. from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and her M.P.H. from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She completed her emergency medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospitals, and the Emergency Medicine Health Policy Research and Translation fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
