Biography at time of Mongan Commonwealth Fund Fellowship: Robert P. Marlin, M.D., is currently an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a primary care internal medicine physician in the Department of Medicine and at the East Cambridge Health Center, Cambridge Health Alliance, Cambridge, MA. He has dedicated his career to the improved health and health care of immigrants and refugees and, in particular, to the development of coordinated care programs for political violence survivors (PVSs). Dr. Marlin received his medical degree from SUNY-Stony Brook School of Medicine in 2003 and his Ph.D. in Anthropology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 2001. He completed his internal medicine residency at Cambridge Health Alliance in 2006.
