Rainu Kaushal, M.D., M.P.H., is a staff physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Children's Hospital, Boston, and Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as an adjunct assistant professor at Cornell Weill Medical School. She received her M.D. cum laude from Harvard Medical School. She did her residency training at Harvard's Brigham and Women's Hospital and Children's Hospital, Boston and is double board-certified in internal medicine and pediatrics. After residency, Dr. Kaushal obtained a M.P.H. from Harvard School of Public Health during a clinical effectiveness fellowship. Her research interests are patient safety and information technology.
