Pratha Sah, Ph.D., is an associate research scientist at the Center for Infectious Disease Modeling and Analysis at the Yale School of Public Health. Her research is focused on applications of quantitative methods in the study of infectious disease outbreaks. Dr. Sah uses mathematical, statistical, and network models to understand how policy, human behavior, and the environment influence disease transmission, and how disease outbreaks, in turn, shape local and global policy. She earned her Ph.D. in epidemiology and infectious disease modeling from Georgetown University.
