Philip A. Saynisch

Philip A. Saynisch, Ph.D., is a research scientist at the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Dr. Saynisch contributes to a range of research projects in NCQA’s health equity portfolio, including disparities in quality of diabetes care. In addition to his work on health disparities, Dr. Saynisch has conducted extensive work on the patient-centered medical home model and its impact on health care costs and utilization. He has also served as a consultant on international efforts sponsored by the National Academy of Medicine and World Bank to improve preparedness for infectious disease outbreaks. He holds a Ph.D. in health policy from Harvard University.
