Nia Johnson is a Ph.D. candidate in health policy at Harvard University and a research assistant for Robert Blendon and Ben Sommers. She is the founder and CEO of the Mazingira Bioethics Group, a bioethics consulting company that focuses on clinical ethics mediation, minority health, and general bioethics. Her research interests include causes of mistrust in medicine in the black diaspora, opinion research, and examining bioethics through the black gaze. She has a master’s degree in bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
