Nancy Lopez, J.D., M.P.H., is a senior research scientist and professorial lecturer in the Department of Health Policy at The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services. She specializes in legal and policy matters related to the health insurance marketplaces, private health insurance, and health reform implementation. Her research has been used to produce analyses regarding the marketplaces, key implementation issues under the Affordable Care Act, health care fraud, and public and private insurance coverage and payment for treatment related to obesity.
