Michael (Manjiang) Duan, M.S., senior research analyst, joined CareScience in January 2002. His expertise in data processing and his extensive analytical skills have provided solid data support to various internal and external reports. Many of those reports were shared through consulting activities with customers, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, health care providers, and health care research organizations. Before starting his career in the health care industry, Duan worked at GlaxoSmithKline for over six years. He holds a B.S. degree in economics from Sichuan University in China and M.S. degree in applied economics from Wright State University in Ohio. His graduate essay, "Retail Development in Rural Counties: Evidence from Upper Midwest," was published in the Journal of Regional Analysis and Policy.
