Martin Martinez

Martin Martinez, M.P.P., joined CPEHN as policy director in July 2001. He previously served on the statewide Department of Consumer Affairs' Task Force on Culturally and Linguistically Competent Physicians and Dentists, and currently serves on the Office of the Patient Advocate's Cultural and Linguistic Services Workgroup, the Department of Health Services Council on Multicultural Health, and other committees. He is also the Legislative Chair of the Governing Council of the California Public Health Association–North. Mr. Martinez earned his master of public policy degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College.
