Mark A. Hall, J.D., is the Fred D. & Elizabeth L. Turnage Professor of Law at the Wake Forest University School of Law and School of Medicine. One of the nation’s leading scholars in the areas of health care law and policy and bioethics, he is currently engaged in research on insurance regulation, medical liability, immigrant health, and the doctor–patient relationship. Hall is a member of the National Academy of Medicine and regularly consults with government officials, foundations, and think tanks about health care public policy issues. He earned his law degree from the University of Chicago.
