Lindsey Engelman, M.S., is assistant director for innovation strategy at the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute. In this role, she works to advance national implementation of innovative, evidenced based mental health policy and practices through research, analysis, and program management, particularly as they relate to Medicaid. She is dedicated to ensuring health equity is centered in policy and tech solutions. Engelman previously worked at the UT Dell Medical School, where she worked with community partners to find ways to improve, develop, and measure the impact of community-based programs to impact health. Prior to that, she worked in multicultural and international education, building meaningful academic-community partnerships to develop a wide variety of programming. Engelman earned an M.S. in community and regional planning and an M.A. in Latin American Studies, both from the University of Texas at Austin.
