Kristen Kolb

Kristen Kolb, M.P.H., R.N., joined the Commonwealth Fund in 2024 as a research associate in the Health Care Coverage and Access & Tracking Health System Performance program. In this role, she is responsible for maintaining the State Health Data Center and contributing to the Fund’s scorecards and related research projects. Kolb has prior experience as a clinician specializing in neurological and psychiatric-mental health nursing, working most recently at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital since 2017. While there, she participated in a research fellowship sponsored by the Columbia University School of Nursing. Kolb holds an M.P.H. in health policy and management from the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy, a B.S. in nursing from the University of Rochester, and a B.A. in psychology from SUNY Geneseo.
