Karen VanLandeghem, M.P.H., is a senior advisor at the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs (AMCHP), where she advises and works on projects to expand access to preventive and primary care, advance quality maternal and child health programs, promote service delivery integration between public and private systems, and improve health care quality and health outcomes for women, children, and their families. Prior to rejoining AMCHP as a senior advisor, she consulted with national, federal, and state entities and worked for national organizations to advance and improve policies and programs for women, children, youth, and their families. Ms. VanLandeghem is also on the faculties of the University of Illinois at Chicago, School of Public Health, and the Women’s and Children’s Health Policy Center at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, In 2000, she was the recipient of the American Public Health Association’s Young Professional Award for outstanding achievement and leadership in maternal and child health.
