Julie Lewis is the health policy director at The Dartmouth Institute (TDI) for Health Policy and Clinical Practice in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Ms. Lewis leads the health policy division for TDI and oversees a partnership between TDI and The Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C.. Her work focuses on developing and advancing innovative health policy initiatives, such as accountable care organizations, in Washington and around the country. Ms. Lewis came to Dartmouth from the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Division of Advocacy & Health Policy in Washington, where she was the associate for quality programs. Prior to joining ACS, Ms. Lewis held various positions in the U.S. House of Representatives for the Speaker of the House, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi. Ms. Lewis holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. She currently attends Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business as a master’s degree candidate in business administration.
