Judah Thornewill, PhD, is Chief Executive Officer of GroupPlus, LLC, a consultancy specializing in facilitating health sector alliances, and assistant professor (adjuvant) in the department of Health Management and Systems Sciences, University of Louisville, School of Public Health and Information Sciences. His interests include consumer-centered health care, consumer-directed health information exchange digital health apps and devices, and value-based health care. Alliances which he has facilitated include The Louisville Health Information Exchange, The Health Care Transformation Task Force, CARIN, an alliance for advancing consumer-directed exchange in the U.S. and the Cybersecurity for Health Care Alliance. He co-authored Population Health: Management, Policy and Technology, a book published in 2013, and speaks and writes regularly on health care issues. He earned his PhD in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Louisville.
