Jinnet B. Fowles

Jinnet B. Fowles, Ph.D., was a senior vice president and director of research at the Health Research Center at Park Nicollet Institute from 1986 to 2010. Her major research and health policy interests include impact of managed care on health care quality, quality assessment in ambulatory care, risk adjustment for capitated systems, developing patient–provider communication skills, evaluating guidelines for care, assessing responses of patients and consumers to the changing health care environment, and comparing varying data sources. She is currently serving in the U.S. Peace Corps in Tonga, South Pacific. Dr. Fowles received her doctorate in communications research from Stanford University.
