Jennifer Humensky, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of Clinical Health Policy and Management (in Psychiatry) at the Columbia University Department of Psychiatry and New York State Psychiatric Institute. Her research areas are in mental health services research and mental health economics. Her work focuses on the role of social determinants of health, notably work and school participation, in improving functioning and well-being for adolescents and young adults. Dr. Humensky’s work comes from an economic and policy perspective and uses quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods in the process of developing policy-relevant research.
