Project: Frich’s project aims to study and develop models for developing clinical leaders within U.S. health care institutions, particularly accountable care organizations (ACOs). He will first conduct a literature review and expert interviews focusing on leadership development and the core competencies for clinical leaders. He will then perform at least three case studies at high-performing health systems – likely including ACOs – on their policies and practices for leadership development.
