James D. Reschovsky, Ph.D., is a senior fellow at the Center for Studying Health System Change (HSC) where his recent research focuses on physician payment issues, physician behavior, geographic variations, and Medicare policy. He has been a key figure in the Community Tracking Study, which since 1996 has investigated changes in the health care system and their effect on people and providers. Previous positions include research fellow at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and faculty positions at Michigan State University and Cornell University. He holds M.P.P. and Ph.D. degrees in public policy studies from the University of Michigan.
