Inna Cintina, Ph.D., is a principal research associate in the Evaluation and Health Economics Practice at KNG Health Consulting. She has more than a decade of research experience in the area of health economics. Cintina’s areas of expertise include developing models and implementing methodologies for identification of causal relationships, advanced analytics, project management, economic burden/cost of illness studies, and impact evaluations of alternative payment models. She has authored or coauthored more than a dozen articles, which have been published in peer-reviewed journals, including JAMA, World Bank Economic Review, Contemporary Economic Policy, and Health Economics. Cintina earned a Ph.D. in economics from Clemson University, an M.Sc. in European economics and public affairs from University College Dublin, and an M.A. and a B.A. in economics from the University of Latvia.
