Emily Cross, M.S., is a researcher at Mathematica. A public policy professional, she focuses on climate change, health equity, reproductive health, and Medicaid. She brings methodological expertise in engaging interested parties, conducting environmental and landscape scans, developing technical assistance and project operations materials, researching and implementing policy and strategy recommendations, managing complex tasks, and leading teams through process and project changes. She was task lead for state engagement on the Catalyzing State Medicaid Leadership on Climate Change Mitigation project and operations director and environmental scan task colead on a project related to the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting program. She supports climate change and health business development by conceptualizing and developing educational materials, coordinating across business areas and units, and drafting proposals. Before joining Mathematica, Cross earned an M.S. in public policy and management from the Heinz School of Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University.
