Ellen Wu is the executive director of the California Pan-Ethnic Health Network (CPEHN), a statewide network of multicultural health organizations working together to ensure that all Californians have access to quality health care and can live healthy lives. She is a graduate of the School of Public Health at the University of California, Los Angeles, and has worked with a culturally diverse low-income and uninsured population for the past 12 years. Ms. Wu serves on the California Health Interview Survey Advisory Board, the California Hospital Assessment and Reporting Task Force, and the LEADing Organization Change: Advancing Quality Through Culturally Responsive Care Advisory Committee. Previously, she was the director of health education and cultural/linguistic services at the Alameda Alliance for Health and served as co-chair of the California Department of Health Services' Cultural and Linguistic Services Standards Task Force.
