Ella Roth is a research analyst with the Population Health team at the National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP). She is involved in projects related to housing, oral health, and immunizations for children and pregnant women. Prior to joining NASHP, she interned at the PolicyLab of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Her research there focused on identifying sustainable Medicaid financing mechanisms to support community health workers, social need screening, and digital data-sharing platforms. Roth earned a B.A. in Health and Societies, with a focus in health care markets and finance, and a minor in economics, from the University of Pennsylvania.
