Deborah Scharf, Ph.D., is a clinical and health psychologist who studies behavioral health services, systems, finance, and policy in the United States and Canada. Her research focuses on integrating mental health, addiction, and chronic disease care for underserved groups, including adults with serious mental illness, injured workers, and service members and veterans. Scharf is an associate professor of clinical psychology at Lakehead University and a practicing clinician. She earned a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and biological and health psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
