David Studdert, LL.B., Sc.D., M.P.H., is an associate professor of law and public health in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Harvard School of Public Health, as well as a RAND consultant. The Law and Public Health Group at Harvard is focused on a policy issues at the intersection of the legal and health care systems. In one study, the group is exploring the potential for the medical malpractice system to yield important insights into causes of medical errors. Mr. Studdert received his LL.B. from the University of Melbourne and his Sc.D. and M.P.H. from Harvard University.
