David G. Stevenson

David G. Stevenson, Ph.D., S.M., is an associate professor of health policy in the Department of Health Policy at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Dr. Stevenson’s primary research interests are long-term care and end-of-life care, including the evolution of Medicare’s hospice benefit, quality assurance in the nursing home and hospice sectors, and long-term-care financing options for the future. His previous faculty appointment was in the Department of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Stevenson received an S.M. in health policy and management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and a Ph.D. in health policy from Harvard University.
