Daniel A. Enquobahrie, M.D., M.P.H., Ph.D., is associate professor in the Department of Epidemiology and the Department of Health Systems and Population Health at the University of Washington School of Public Health. His research focuses on risk factors and associated mechanisms for pregnancy complications and outcomes as well as early life and developmental origins of metabolic and cardiovascular diseases. Enquobahrie has served as the director of the Center of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health and associate director of the Online M.P.H. Program. He earned his M.D. from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, and his M.P.H. and Ph.D. in epidemiology from the University of Washington.
