Carson Richards joined the Commonwealth Fund in July 2024 as a program assistant in the Coverage core. In this role, she is responsible for a variety of duties, ranging from grants management to research for the Health Care Coverage and Access and Medicaid programs. Prior to joining the Fund, she worked for a rural health nonprofit and a medical billing advocacy group. She was also a research assistant at the University of Virginia and in a basic science laboratory at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Richards graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in global public health.
