Bryan Walsh, J.D., is a postdoctoral research fellow with the Program on Regulation, Therapeutics and Law (PORTAL) in the division of pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics of Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He holds a J.D. with a concentration in health law from George Washington University Law School, a graduate certificate in health policy from Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University, and a B.A. in philosophy and criminology from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. He has held positions in the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Office of Chief Counsel, the Domestic Violence Legal Empowerment and Appeals Project, and Bread for the City, and served as a Kahan FDA/Health Law Fellow. His research focuses on competition and regulatory actions that increase access to affordable prescription drugs and the use of biosimilars and generics. His work has appeared in JAMA, JAMA Internal Medicine, and the American Journal for Managed Care.
