Bio at time of fellowship: Bridget M. Wickham, a 1998–99 New Zealand Harkness Fellow, is general manager of Carter Holt Harvey Plastic Products Ltd., a $120m company, with 600 employees and five production facilities based in Australia and New Zealand. She has full profit accountability for the organization, and for determining and implementing the strategic plans for the company. Wickham is also a director of the NZ Apple and Pear Marketing Board and Chairperson of its Audit Committee. In addition, she is a member of the Council of the University of Auckland. Prior to her current position, she was a director of CS First Boston NZ Ltd., an investment banking and stockbrokerage firm. Since completing her fellowship, Wickham was appointed executive director of University of Auckland Development Ltd., an organization which is focused on increasing commercial interactions between the university and the wider community. She is also a director of Sky City Ltd., Competitive Auckland Ltd., and Uniservices Ltd, and is a member of the Council of the University of Auckland.
