Bill J. Wright, Ph.D., is a sociologist whose primary emphasis is in research methodology and survey design. He is currently a research scientist at the Providence Health System Center for Outcomes Research and Education (CORE), an organization devoted to conducting innovative health services research and program evaluation in the areas of access, quality, and safety. Dr. Wright has led the design and implementation of a number of other ongoing panel studies, including research in patient satisfaction and doctor–patient communication. He is also the co-designer and co-leader of an ongoing three-year cohort study on the impact of Oregon Health Plan program changes on Medicaid beneficiaries.
