Anne Morris Reid, M.P.H., policy director of the Funders Forum on Accountable Health project, is also a lecturer in the Health Policy and Management Department at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University. She began consulting with GWU in 2022 and staffed the Commonwealth Fund Commission on a National Public Health System; a more expansive department role began in 2023. Before joining GWU, Reid served for more than a decade in a range of senior-level policy and leadership positions in the legislative and executive branches of the federal government, including deputy chief of staff and counselor to the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, chief of staff in the U.S. Senate, and professional staff to the Energy and Commerce Committee. Reid earned an M.P.H. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
