Allison Hamblin, M.S.P.H., is president and CEO at the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS), where she focuses on the development, implementation, and evaluation of Medicaid quality improvement demonstrations. Ms. Hamblin's particular areas of expertise are in the organization and financing of systems of care for complex populations. She has led the development of CHCS's return-on-investment tools and related program activities, and is working currently on two initiatives designed to test whether improved coordination and quality of care can generate improved health outcomes as well as cost savings. Prior to joining CHCS, Ms. Hamblin worked at Apax Partners, Inc., and Goldman, Sachs & Co., where she provided venture-capital and investment-banking services to companies in the health care and technology industries.
