The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) will utilize their well-established standard development process and draw on University of Pennsylvania Center Community Health Worker expertise derived from the IMPaCT model – an evidence-based standardized, scalable community health worker (CHW) support program. After developing a preliminary set of candidate standards based on the environmental scan, they will vet the standards with stakeholders. NCQA will convene a multistakeholder advisory group to provide feedback on the standards. They also will plan a public webinar to discuss and allow open comment on the candidate standards.
