The Journalists in Aging Fellows program, a partnership of the Gerontological Society of America (GSA) and New America Media (NAM), has been providing training support for reporters interested in issues around aging, and from ethnic media organizations, for the past six years. The program has to date awarded 84 fellowships to reporters from a wide range of national and local outlets. Participants receive several days of training and a stipend, and commit to publishing at least two products based on the training.
