Health Care Training for Business Journalists, 2015

The Society of American Business Editors and Writers, Inc. (SABEW) was formed in 1964 to promise superior coverage of business and economic events and issues and to promote business journalism through education. This is a continuation of a multiyear effort to inform business journalists about the Affordable Care Act and other U.S. health care system trends. The workshops and trainings offered through the grants have supported a range of educational offerings that contribute to the maintenance of a cadre of business journalists who are aware of and understand the deeply complex nature of health care issues.
