Putnam Consulting Group will work with Fund staff to conceptualize and manage an RFI and subsequent RFP process if needed to select a partner organization for the fellowship program. Activities include clarifying the Fund’s priorities for the program, including nonnegotiables and areas of flexibility; identifying potential cofunders; identifying potential host institutions, drafting the RFI and managing the application process; and subsequently managing an RFP process if needed.
This work will help Fund staff continue the 2016 strategic planning work to implement Board recommendations and explore options for the Fund to better leverage its resources in support of training minority leaders positioned to transform care for vulnerable populations. As a result of this work, Fund expects to increase the impact of the Mongan Fellowship by improving its design, structure, and content so that it reliably meets its goals. The project will also ensure a smooth transition from Harvard to a new partner organization, if Harvard is not selected.
