The project will allow an additional fellow to reap the benefits of the intensive training afforded by the fellowships. That fellow will produce in-depth stories for publication in various media formats spotlighting a system and translating what is effective and, most important, how it can lead to higher quality care. This project is targeted toward enhancing educational opportunities for journalists, and helping to provide the public with information about issues that are germane to the mission of the Commonwealth Fund. Each fellow will produce by December a story package or series of stories in any media format or a combination of formats reflecting aspects of the health systems they study. These stories can be investigative, consumer or exploratory.
