The Association for Health Care Journalists' international fellowship in its second year will enable four health care journalists, with 10 or more years of reporting experience, to compare a segment, process, or program of the American health care system to that of another country’s system. Fellows will use public data, academic studies, and interviews and conversations with stakeholders and the public. Over a six‐month period, the fellows also will receive guidance through seminars, conference calls, email consultations, and a site visit to a chosen high-income European country.
