Stephanie Mika is program associate for The Commonwealth Fund's policy initiatives. Ms. Mika reports to the senior policy director and is an important part of the team responsible for the Fund’s national policy strategy and the Commission on a High Performance Health System. In this role, Ms. Mika provides general administrative support to the senior policy director, including writing, editing, and research assistance in outreach to policymakers, in the development of grants, and in support of analysis of Fund-sponsored surveys. Prior to joining the Fund, Ms. Mika was head course associate for the Program in Human Biology at Stanford University where she led a team of four course associates responsible for 300 students enrolled in a year-long course sequence. Her research background includes the study of language development and memory in infants and toddlers. Ms. Mika is a graduate of Stanford University with a B.A. in Human Biology. She is currently pursuing an M.P.H. in health policy at the George Washington University Medical Center’s School of Public Health and Health Services.
